Editorial methodology
At DineroKit we follow a consistent process to research, compare, and publish content about digital financial tools.
1. Research
We start from the terms, fees, and features published directly by each provider (apps, digital banks, money transfer services), plus official sources such as the CFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau) and the FDIC.
2. Testing and comparison
When possible, we test apps and services directly to describe the real experience: sign-up, identity verification, timing, and usage flow. We compare options using objective criteria (fees, timing, requirements), never based on affiliate commissions.
3. Clear writing
We write in plain language, avoiding unnecessary financial jargon, and explain technical terms when they're unavoidable.
4. Citing sources
Every article with financial data includes a sources section linking to official pages or to the providers themselves.
5. Ongoing review
Fees, rates, and terms change often. See our review policy for how and how often we update this information.
